Wedding Info Page
I simply love to shoot them!
The flowers, the dresses, the decorations and the food – I love it all!
Your wedding day is when you’re at your best – you’re looking amazing, surrounded by your family and friends, marrying your sweetheart – and are blissfully happy! I keep your photos laid back and fun – so you can enjoy your day with your sweetheart, friends and family.
What is your style?
I shoot magazine style – the details, the moments & the people.
Most of the time you won’t be aware I’m there, and when we do your location photos, posing is at a minimum – unless of course you want to!
Most of the time I’m shooting real moments – special times with you and your love.
I strive to create images that capture your day as you remember it.
How long have you been a Photographer?
I graduated from Christchurch Polytechnic with an Advanced Diploma in Professional Photography in 2004. I’ve been working professionally since 2005, and shot my first wedding in that same year. I worked part time for years while I built up my business, gained a degree in Visual Arts, and finally quit my day job and became a full time photographer in 2010.
I absolutely love my job and couldn’t imagine doing anything else!
What if my Wedding is out of Dunedin?
That’s fine! I can travel anywhere.
Just contact me and we can work out how much extra I’ll need to add on for travel
costs – I have very reasonable travel rates!
How long do you stay at the Wedding?
I have a range of packages, with all of them starting with you getting ready, and some that stay on into the evening, depending on which you choose.
Some of the best photos are often at the reception – when everyone is relaxed and having fun – I love to stay on when I can.
It depends on what package you purchase, but anywhere from 300 to 500. All of your images are in high resolution and each one is lovingly edited, with a selection of colour, black & white, and toned images.
What does it take to book a wedding?
Firstly – I need to be available! It’s a good idea to book your wedding at least 6 months in advance, to avoid disappointment.
Once you’ve decided you’d like to book, we can meet over a cuppa or Skype and discuss your options. From there, we go over the wedding contract (a very non-scary document that just agrees on what you’ve decided to purchase) and I take a $500 deposit to save the day.
You’ll receive a receipt and a copy of the contract, with the rest of the balance to be paid before the wedding.
How long before I get my photos?
Most of the time I can have them ready within 4 weeks – but in the height of the wedding season it may take a little longer. The longest you’d be waiting is 6 weeks – but so far this hasn’t happened!
I have a a range of packages, starting at $2900. Please contact me to see a full pricelist and check availability.
What sort of camera gear do you use?
I use all Canon equipment. I have a 5D Mark III, and a 5D Mark I as my backup, to ensure against failure. All of my lenses are L series, and I’m constantly growing my kit. The wish list is never ending!
