My portrait sessions can be anywhere you like.
A long grassy field, at the beach, in a favourite place or simply at home – it’s up to you.
Outdoors is the best studio, and lets you and your family unwind and relax in front of the camera, leaving me to shoot your special moments together.

What is your style?

My sessions are relaxed, fun, and easy. I take time to get to know you, and make you feel relaxed and comfortable so that you can enjoy yourselves!
I capture real expressions and moments, and try to avoid traditional posing.

What options do I have?

I offer a range of portrait packages that can suit everyone.
Baby, Child, & Family packages are all available, plus our newest package ‘Belle’, which is a beauty shoot that includes makeup, hair, & gorgeous images of you or the one you love. Gift vouchers are available for all sessions.

How does the process work?

When you decide to book, we go through your ideas for your shoot – if you’d like help deciding or coming up with ideas – I’m happy to help.
We then decide on a suitable date, and I take the session deposit.
On the day of the shoot, we meet at the shoot location and have a great time taking photos. After about a week, your sneak peek will be ready for viewing online.  I then get your package together and it will be ready for collection or sending in a couple of days! Easy as pie.

When is the best time of year for a Portrait?

Portraits can be shot at any time of year, whether it be on a hot summer’s day, or in a freezing cold southerly. As long as you’re all wrapped up warm – I’m happy. Some of the best portraits I’ve taken have been in the middle of winter, when the sun is low, and the light is soft.

What if I’m not ‘Photogenic’?

Most of the people who say this are generally very photogenic!
Rest assured that with the age of digital, I take A LOT of photos. I’ve never had a session where there hasn’t been a photo somebody likes of themselves.
My aim is to make you forget about the camera and have fun, so that I can capture your true expressions. When this happens, everyone is photogenic!

I’m Pregnant – When is the best time to photograph my bump?

Around the 7 month mark is best, nice and round – but not so big you can’t move!
We can go somewhere easy or stay at home if need be – just let me know.

I have a new baby – When is the best time to do Newborn shots?

Generally in the first two weeks. This allows for maximum sleep time, and those docile, smooching faces! As newborns need to be photographed early – it’s a good idea to let me know you’d like some photos of your baby before they arrive, so that I can make sure I have time for you in those first two weeks.
If your baby is older, or you can’t quite make it in time – that’s totally fine, we can do a standard baby session.
