Cam

I did a shoot today with my old friend Cam, which was lovely, and I have chosen two images to think about.

Any thoughts on which one is more appealing would be greatly appreciated. Rachel?

I tend to like ‘two’ better myself but that may be because it is a ‘happy’ image…. not sure what is more effective but it may pop out at me during the next few days.

    Rachel Gillies - Hi Bella,

It’s absolutley impossible to say which one is more ‘appealling’ outside of context i think. It depends what you want to show of your friend, and ultimately what you think you want to show of your group as a whole in then final project. e.g. the top one may be more appropriate with the theme of ‘change’ as he looks more in thought, uncertain, looking off-shot to an (unknown) future…BUT a more accurate record of your friend’s state of mind right now, may be the second image…and his relationship back to you (as he is clearly looking at the photographer with his expression). In some ways this is nice because it implicates YOU more directly in the project – and you are a very important part of your group of friends, right now…
Don’t know if that’s much help but some more things to think about!ReplyCancel
